Hello, and welcome to my (Flaner's) blog!

Basically, i've created this blog because i'm sick of Youtube taking down my videos all the time. Now that this is set-up, i can upload videos they cut to another website and link to them from here.

This means i'll be able to do covers from bands such as 'MCR', 'Red Hot Chilli Peppers' and lots of fantabulous other ones.

I'll also use this blog to answer some of your drumming questions (if anyone has any).

    i was wondering what a "falm" is on drum's!
    and did you upload any drum video's yet on this blog?
    cause i'd like to see your otherside cover where the tom's come in i just cant seem to learn it!.

    Hey guys,
    I'll reply in the order posted.

    1. That fill is great! I think he goes down snare/tom/floor/bass in a triplet - if that makes sense?!

    2. Hi Andri. I'm thinking of doing a couple off 'decemberunderground'. Have you got any preferences? I'll do a request for you, seeing as though you came to my blog! ;). And Youtube took down my videos due to a legal wrangle between them and warner music, where warner don't want any of their music on the site. So the likes of MCR (on warner) get taken down.

    3. I haven't uploaded any videos yet because i haven't been back home and, consequently, haven't had a chance to get on a kit! I'm due to go back in 2 weeks, so will get a load of covers done and will uploaded some of the vids youtube took down on here.

    4. a 'flam' is when you hit down on the drum with both sticks, but with one stick hitting *slightly* before the other one, and at a quieter volume. There is an example of one at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW8e2Hmug3s

    To get around the youtube copyright laws all you got to do is put (c)the respected owners. Hope this helps but since I started doing this not one cover has gotten taken down of mine.

    how about This Celluloid Dream? or Sacrifice Theory? If you want to do a couple off of DU, how about Kill Caustic, Love Like Winter, The Missing Frame?
    Any AFI songs is fine really, I like your covers other than AFI too :) Im just a big AFI fan.

    Im also glad you're doing Green Day covers :)
