New covers coming 19th Sep

I'm aware that i created this blog, and haven't actually done anything with it! To be honest, i didn't think anyone was actually looking at it, so i thought '...Meh.' But now i've had a few questions (which i like answering!), so i might as well keep updating this thing.

Anyway, i've got new covers coming on the 19th. These are the ones i'm thinking of doing:

- Spineshank - 'Synthetic'
- At the Drive-in - One Armed Scissor
- Sinch - Something More
- Muse - Knights of Cydonia
- 30stm - Attack
- Dead By April - What can i Say

Anyone got any other ideas? I want to do some covers that actually get a decent amount of covers for once, so any 'popular' suggestions are welcome.

If you are not signed up for blogs, you can still comment as 'anonymous' ... just don't slag me off as it!

  2. I'll do a Sum 41 song for you. I'm thinking either 'With Me', 'Still Waiting' or 'In Too Deep'. What do you reckon?

  6. Dave's fast rolls are pretty mental in 'No One Knows' - though i do love the song.

I've not heard of 'The Bravery'. I'll check out some of their music today.

  8. You should cover these as they have interesting drumming and are great songs,

Toxicity by System of a Down
Light Up The Sky by Yellowcard
Killing In The Name by Rage Against The Machine
Ever Done Before by Sterr (Not a well known band but their drummer is sick)

  9. Hi (first forgive my english cause i'm french) i'm 19 and i've been a drummer for 2 years -only.
I think 30stm songs are very difficult to play cause Shanon plays "out of time".
I wonder how many years did i must play drums if i want to play 30stm songs?
    Thx. U rules.

  10. In response to the last post, i don't think you can put a time limit (in years) on when you can play songs. Some people play for hours and hours a day, whereas some can only get on the kit for a few hours a week.

30stm songs contain hard parts, but i would say they are songs which can be learned by an intermediate drummer. Just break them down into smaller sections and take each song very slowly until you have each part down.
